Meet Linda
I’m an embodied psychotherapist and coach, and the founder of Between - a space for authentic expression, courageous presence, and meaningful connection. My work draws on Gestalt therapy, somatic awareness, and movement-based practice.
I came to this work through my own lived transitions - redundancy, breakup, bereavement, perimenopause - arriving together. For a while, I was in unknown territory - I lost my sense of identity and my sense of direction. What helped wasn’t “figuring it out” but learning to listen to the quiet signals of my body - what was alive underneath the confusion - and to reclaim the parts I had learned to reject or to hide. Today I support clients to do the same.
How I work
Clients often describe my presence as calm, steady, and intuitive - a kind of safe harbour in choppy seas. I don’t rush your process or try to fix you. Instead, I listen deeply, stay close to what’s real, and gently invite curiosity about what’s stirring beneath the surface.
I bring warmth and honest reflection in equal measure. Together, we might use imagery, metaphor, breath, or simple movement to help you listen, through the body, to the needs and longings you have learned to silence. As we slow down, you might notice how your chest softens as you speak, or how your breath catches when you mention someone important. These are not small details - they’re the language of your living system showing what wants attention.
I work collaboratively and at a pace that honours your unique process and circumstances. Between is a space to slow down, listen inwardly, and move toward what feels true for you. Something meaningful often begins in that in‑between space.
A little more personally
Bodywork and movement practices have been a big part of my life since my mid-twenties - I’ve spent years training and working as a yoga teacher and massage therapist. and today I stay connected through walking, swimming, yoga, dancing, writing, and travelling. These are the practices that keep me grounded, curious, and alive in my work with you.
In corporate roles, I’ve supported and coached individuals and organisations through significant personal and professional transitions.
Training, experience & ongoing learning
My work is grounded in relational and body-oriented psychotherapy and coaching. I continue my lifelong interest and professional development in embodiment, relational practice, trauma awareness, and nervous system-informed approaches.
I value learning as an ongoing process and continue to engage in supervision, personal development, and further study as part of my commitment to ethical relational and somatic practice.
