Somatic Coaching

Support for transition, burnout, uncertainty, and becoming more fully yourself.

There are times in life when something no longer fits, yet what comes next is not fully clear. You may feel burned out, disconnected from yourself, questioning your direction, navigating identity shifts or life changes, or longing for a more meaningful and sustainable way of living and relating.

Somatic coaching offers a reflective and collaborative space to slow down, deepen awareness, and explore what is emerging within you and your life so you can tune in and make choices that feel right for you.

What is somatic coaching?

Somatic coaching is grounded in the understanding that we are continually shaped through relationship - with our environment, culture, work, family systems, and the wider contexts we live within - and that this shaping shows up in how we hold ourself, how we move and how we in turn relate with others.

Rather than focusing only on goals, performance, or fixing problems, somatic coaching pays attention to how you experience yourself, your relationships, your work, and your life in the present moment.

Grounded in Gestalt philosophy and embodied relational awareness, this approach invites greater awareness of how you make contact with the world around you — including the ways you adapt, protect yourself, move toward connection, avoid certain experiences, or repeat familiar patterns.

Often, meaningful change emerges not through force or self-improvement, but through developing a deeper awareness, and acceptance, of yourself and discovering that new ways of responding, relating, and living are available to you.

Over time, new ways of being can gradually become embodied, lived, and integrated within both body and mind.

You may seek coaching because…

  • You feel burned out, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself and want to understand why.

  • You are seeking support as you navigate transition, uncertainty, or identity change.

  • You are questioning your direction, work, relationships, or sense of meaning.

  • You want to lead, live, or relate differently.

  • You want to move through perimenopause or significant life change with intentionality.

  • You want to change relational patterns that no longer feel sustainable.

  • You are longing for greater alignment, authenticity, or connection within your life.

You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning.

How we may work together

Our work together may include exploring:

  • transitions and identity shifts

  • burnout and nervous system overwhelm

  • relationships and relational patterns

  • leadership and relational awareness

  • creativity, meaning, and authenticity

  • boundaries, self-support, and embodiment

  • how you make contact with yourself, others, and the world around you

Relational coaching is not about becoming a “better version” of yourself. It is about developing greater awareness, choice, and connection so that you can live and relate in ways that feel more aligned and sustainable for you.

The work unfolds collaboratively and at a pace that honours your unique process, context, and lived experience.
